In the Name of God Amen. I George Watson of Low Rigg in the parish of Stanhope in the County of Durham being of sound mind & memory Do make and ordain this to be my last Will & Testament In manner and form following (that is to say)

I give to my son John Watson the sum of Five pound & my Clock

I give to my son Geo Watson my Peat Cart

I give to my son Joseph Watson the Sum of five pounds and all my wearing apparel

I give to my Grandson Jno. Son of my son Jos. Watson five pounds

And I hereby Order and Direct all the before named legacies to be paid to Each of the Legatees within Twelve month next after my Death & Decease out of my ready money by my Executor. I also order my Executor to pay all my Just Debts and ffuneral Expenses as Soon as may be after Death and I also order & Direct my said Executor to pay himself all such Expences that he may Expend or be put unto in and about the Execution of this my Will

and I also order & Direct all the Rest and Residue of my Effects Goods & Chattles of what nature or kind Soever not already Disposed of & after the payments aforesaid are made to be Divided between my three Sons Jno. Watson Geo. Watson Jona. Watson and my Daughter Sarah Watson Equally share and share alike And I do appoint my Son Jno. Watson Sole Executor of this my last Will hereby Revoking & Disanulling all other former Wills Ratifying & Allowing this & no other to be my last Will & Testament In Witness Whereof I have to this my Will hereunto Set my hand & seal this 30th day of June 1775

On which Day Ralph Gibson one of the Subscribing Witnesses to the within written Will was duly sworn to the Truth & due Execution thereof and John Watson natural & lawful Son of the late deceased & sole Executor was also sworn well & faithfully to execute & perform the same as usual before me
