In the name of God Amen I George Watson of hillend in weardale in the County of Durham yeom being sumewhat sick in body but of Good & perfect Remembrance - praise be to Almighty God for the same Calling to mind the uncertainty of life & that all Flesh must yeild unto Death have made & ordained this my Testament Containing my last will: in maner & form following -

First I Give & bequeath my soul to Almighty God my Creator & to Jesus Christ my Redemer by whose mirr?? and blood sheding I hope to have full pardon & free Remishon of all my sins & my body to the Earth from whence it came, and for my Temporall Estate which it hath pleased God fare above my Desert to blesse me withall I Give & bequeath in maner & form following
Impr I Give & bequeath unto my Sone George one shilling
Item I Give & bequeath unto my Daughter Anne one shilling
Item I Give & bequeath unto my Daughter Isabell one shilling
Item I Give unto my Daughter Elizabeth one shilling
Item I Give & bequeath unto my Daughter Jane one shilling
Item I Give & bequeath unto my sone Cuthbert Five pounds & one little Dune Gelding the said five pounds to be paid at the end of Two years after my Decease
Item I Give & bequeath unto my sone Joseph five pounds & Ten ewe sheep the said five pounds to be paid at the end of two years after my Decease
and for all the rest of my Lands Goods Chattells bills bonds Debts & accounts both moveable & unmoveable after my Debts paid & funerall Expences performed I Give & bequeath the same unto my sone John and Jane my now wife & I Doe ordaine Institute & appoint my said sone John & my said wife to be joynt Executors of this my last will & Testament

and I doe further order & apoint that my said wife shall have the one half of my Lands During the terme of her naturall life or widowhood & after her Decease or mariage I Give & bequeath the same to my said sone Cuthbert & my sone Joseph
