Eleanor Cook grew up in Ballast
Hills, Newcastle. She married Rev. John Watson on 26th January
1870, and the couple apparently moved shortly thereafter to John's
circuit in Hartlepool.

refers to a type of religious study group formed by members of
the Primitive Methodist Church.]
