My dear Annie
I am so pleased to see from your letter that you are feeling stronger, and able to be out again. We were all so sorry to hear you had to leave the town on account of illness; I trust you will soon feel all right again. The weather this Christmas has been most trying; the few mild days we had this week were delightful. I am pleased to hear you are coming up to Newcastle for a time, the change will do you good I am sure. Mr. & Mrs. Stewart will make you welcome they all seem so kind. We hope to see as much of you as possible. Now Annie dear excuse me saying more to night as I am not feeling at all well my throat being very sore. Mama joins me in kindest love to all as if named Ever yr. loving cousin
